Should I consider upgrading to a metal roof?
Metal roofs are a fantastic material option for a new roof. Metal roofs have several advantages over shingled roofs. They typically last as long as 40-70 years compared to standard shingled roofs which have a 15-25 year life expectancy (premium shingled roofs can last as long 50 years). Metal roofs are incredibly durable and able to withstand high wind speeds. They are also remarkably energy-efficient. However, they can create substantially more noise during heavy rains or hailstorms and are considerably more expensive than traditional shingled roofs. It is important to carefully consider all these factors when deciding what material to use for your new roof and to remember that a new premium shingled roof is also an excellent choice.
Is my new roof warrantied?
Yes! Your new roof will be covered by two warranties:
1. Workmanship
This is the warranty that we provide. It covers workmanship, labor, installation, but not materials. This warranty is valid for 2-5 years.
2. Manufacturer
Our manufacturer’s warranty is valid for 50 years. This warranty is issued by the shingle manufacturer and covers the materials used.
